View, export or change the EXIF of your image files. Supports JPEG, GIF, PNG, PSD, RAW, TIFF, NEF, DNG, ARW, SRW, SR2, CRW, CR2, PEF formats etc.
EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) is a file format that stores various details about your photographs, such as date and time information, descriptions, copyright info, and many others. EXIF Pilot is a Windows utility that provides you with a quick solution for viewing and editing EXIF data on your PC.
The application comes with an integrated file browser that's being displayed on the left side of the interface. From there, you can access the folders that contain your images and select the photos that require EXIF editing. There's also a "Preview" panel on the upper-right side of the main window where you can get a glimpse at the pictures from the selected directory.
The editing options can be found in the main menu of the program. The integrated EXIF data editor allows you to modify various types of details about your photos, such as camera model, artist, copyright information, location, format, and many others. Afterwards, just click the "OK" button and the app will apply the needed changes.
You can also use this program to export EXIF data to your local folders. The app supports 3 output formats: XLS, CSV, and XLS.
My only issue with this utility is the fact that it doesn't offer you support for batch processing by default. You need to buy and install a plugin in order to edit or export multiple EXIF files at the same time. However, this plugin might prove to be of good use to professional photographers who need to edit EXIF data often.
To sum things up, EXIF Pilot proves to be a reliable solution for viewing and editing EXIF data on your PC. It's easy-to-use and efficient, features a comprehensive help manual, and is free.
