EXIF Pilot is a simple tool that helps you view, create, edit or delete image metadata of various types, including EXIF, IPTC, and XMP data. This image metadata manager is also completely free.
EXIF Pilot supports editing the tags for a large variety of image file formats, including popular ones like JPEG, TIFF, PNG, as well as less-known ones like PEF, CR2 or ORF. Some RAW formats are also supported, but only for viewing.
Another advantage of this tool is the fact that it allows exporting and importing EXIF and IPTC tags to and from all kinds of files, such as CSV, XLS or XML.
Furthermore, the interface is simple and self-explanatory. Some handy basic customization options are also available.
On the other hand, I’m a bit disappointed that the only way of batch processing the tags of multiple photos at once is possible only through the use of a plug-in. The problem with this plug-in is that it’s not free – it actually costs quite a lot.
In conclusion, if you can ignore the aforementioned drawback, EXIF Pilot is a great solution for whenever you need to manage image metadata.
Full-featured software tool to edit, view, create, export, and import EXIF data.
